Christian Community Ministries

Christian Community Ministries is a registered charity which looks to serve the needy in a practical caring way. At the same time we try to show the Love of Jesus Christ and to share His gospel of Repentance, Forgiveness and Reconciliation to God the Father.

Narin and Kanueng are Thai missionaries working in Plabplachai in the remote district of Buriram where the population is generally Buddhist. They first came to the attention of CCM in 2004 and we have been supporting them in prayer and with finances ever since. Their drive and determination and zeal for God has always impressed us; they have a very tight hold on the vision that God has given them for the work they are undertaking.

In June 2007, the decision was taken to purchase some land with a view to building a home for girls, a home for boys and a church building, rather than making use of rented accomodation.

Building started in December 2007, but was a little stop-start due to finances. Each building will be 18 x 11 metres and will have 4 bedrooms, a living room, dining room & bathrooms. The anticipated cost for each building is £22,000. By May 2008, huge progress has been made but still a huge amount to do before the homes are habitable.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Kanueng is a formal volunteer at a government hospital. She helps in the community by checking villager's blood pressure and helping them to understand how to protect themselves and others from disease.

CHRISTIAN MARCHING DAY

All Christians from 34 churches in Buriram Province marched in the city of Buriram. This is the first time in history we are holding hands together and marching in the Lord to bless our city and praying for revival. The gospel was planted in our region over 30 years ago, I (Narin) was the first Christian in this city at that time, and today we are about 2,000.

OUTREACH

We are now planning for coming crusade, pastors from different churches and denominations joint hand together for event. This is opportunity to reach the people of Buriram. It will conduct at a central sport stadium. We expect 5,000 to 10,000 people will joint the event each night. Groups of peoples will hear Gospel of Jesus first time. Miracle will happen. As a chairman of crusade we want to see a kingdom of haven were established in our land, so now on advertising has broadcast on every cable TV channels, including of radio stations, news papers, posters were post every where, banners, teams were prepared for winning soul, training the follow up team. We have to work hard at the building and take time with preparing our crusade. This project has support by Henry Madava a Nigerian Pastor who pastoring a Victory Church in Ukraine. Please pray for us.
