Involve Your School
There are many ways in which you and your school could get involved in the work of CCM and it may not cost a penny! Here are some suggestions but by no means an exhaustive list. |
- Save your printer cartridges for our Recycle4India Appeal.
- PTA events perhaps including a charity auction
- Take part in our annual appeals at Harvest or Christmas
- Nominate us as your Charity of the Year and hold your own fundraising events with staff, pupils and parents to raise funds. Try a reverse uniform day where staff wear the uniform and the students don't!
- Sponsored events are great way to spread the fun and fundraising efforts. Try a sponsored silence, or bounce, or set up an obstacle course for everyone to tackle.

How CCM Can Help Your School
We can help out in your school in a number of different ways. We can come in and talk about the work of CCM to parents, staff or children in an assembly or to specific classes. We can share about the work in general or be specific about a particular country that we are working in. This can be useful in supporting project work, eg India and the different religions, cultures etc.
We would be delighted if your school chose to support one of our Appeals; groceries for Harvest and Shoeboxes at Christmas. Both of these can help demonstrate the life we have that we often take for granted; the fact that a simple shoebox of small gifts will make a huge difference in someone's life can only go to emphasise the excesses that are sometimes expected at Christmastime. Again, one of the team would be more than willing to come into the school and talk to everyone about the appeals, who will benefit and what they need to do.
All our work is done in the name of Jesus Christ. It is a desire to share His love with everyone that is our driving force. We can offer the fruits of our appeals and work to those we support, sharing with them the love of God in a very practical way. We also like to share the love of God with others and can give assemblies or lessons on the basis of our Christian faith. We have an expanding range of educational materials that help explain a Christian's view on many issues such as Hollowe'en, Easter and Christmas. If you would like more information about these leaflets, please contact the office on 01606 782244, or email the office.
